The method of referencing and setting sources

The method of referencing and organizing the sources and references of the two-term "Research on Quranic Studies" of Qom Karim University of Quranic Sciences and Education is determined according to the APA (American Psychological Association) method.

1. In-text referencing method

This journal has designated references as in-text citations. According to the APA method, it is mandatory to include the last name of the author/authors and the date of publication in any type of printed and electronic source, including books, magazine articles, theses, etc. This style requires adding a page number for direct quotations; For example: (Ahmadi, 1374: 12) but for indirect quotations (excerpt, interpretation), although it is not necessary to include the page number, it is better to include it for reliability. If there is no "year of publication" in a source, the term "Beta" is given, and if there is no "place of publication", the term "Bibi" is given, and if there is no "publisher's name", the term "Bina" is given. The principles and rules of referencing in the text of the article are as follows:

An author: (Ahmadi, 1374: 12).
Two authors: (Ahmadi and Yazdani, 1374: 12).
More than two authors: (Ahmadi and others, 1374: 12).
Two or more works by one author in one year: (Ahmadi, 1374 A: 12); (Ahmadi, 1374 B: 12). The year of publication of the book is sorted alphabetically.
If the reference is from two different sources, the two sources are separated by a semicolon: (Zarin Koob, 1374: 12; Arian, 1378: 12).
Reference to a multi-volume source: (Ahmadi, 1374, Vol. 1: 12).
Citing an intermediary source: (Ahmadi, 1374: 12; quoted by Castells, 1999: 205).
